No app or games will load (all digital copies)

Downloaded COD and Assassins Creed and neither will load, takes me back to dashboard every time.

This happens on every app and game I have, tried all suggestions from online....such as hard reset, clear cache, reset gamertag, reinstalled the games, literally tried everything. Please someone help as Xbox support have been nigh on useless

I'm having the same issue. No games will work whether they're digital or disc-based. My system is also very sluggish and often times, freezing when attempting to load an app (or anything really).

I can't play any of my games!

whenever i try to play any game, it loads forever and never starts.

i tried with both physical and digital copies!

Hey there James!

I would say that if you are having problems getting these games to load up, I'd try all the troubleshooting steps here on “My Xbox One game won’t
start or freezes during gameplay” and see if that helps.

If that doesn't, then I would try what we call a soft reset.

It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.

Follow the steps here on

id rather buy the digital copy. It may cost a bit more but its worth it. The next gen xbox console will not be able to read 360 discs which means all those disc games you have will be useless unless you play out the 360. Also having the digital copy is alot
faster loading times.

I can load the digital copy on the xbox 360 but the xbox one

My son had this problem when he changed his Xbox to the primary console. Since he paid for the game on his console, on his account, I received the game too. But once he changed those settings, I was able to play the game, and he was asked to purchase it
again. We put the settings back, and he got the game back. Perhaps you have a 2nd xbox in the house?
