No animals spawning

Discus and support No animals spawning in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; not sure what's going on but I'm a big fan of survival island seed I am playing one now add me if you wanna play but I built a platform 27 away and...     No animals spawning


    not sure what's going on but I'm a big fan of survival island seed I am playing one now add me if you wanna play but I built a platform 27 away and upwards with a huge square when there should of definitely spawned animals after hours of waiting still no
    animals I have it well lit and grass I have no idea why nothing is happening

    Crazy animal spawning.

    They spawn in certain biomes, there's nothing to do to stop the spawning other than alter the island. Animals can only spawn on grass, so if you laid down cobblestone or sand, then they wouldn't anymore.

    Squid spawning question

    so im trying to make an Aquarium since animals don't despawn anymore but squid are not spawning in the tanks. I was wondering if i kill all animals that are spawned around me will squid spawn in the tanks or no hope?

    No animals spawning

    Minecraft xbox one still has the same passive mob spawning limits as the 360 (update this 4J!!). One problem you get with this, is that they usually get stuck on the side of hill/mountains and down chasms... so if you're building close to one, or you walked
    past one... Take a bow, some arrows and go hunting!

    Well there isn't the first map is full of water just little islands I have a platform 27 blocks high and 27 block away from the island with a barrier around it I have done this on 360 and it worked but for some reason its not working

    And it above deep ocean so it should work

    Well there isn't the first map is full of water just little islands I have a platform 27 blocks high and 27 block away from the island with a barrier around it I have done this on 360 and it worked but for some reason its not working

    On a Water/Ocean map with only 6 small islands. Why are there no animals spawning?

    The islands are technically an ocean biome, and animals won't spawn there. It's impossible for animals to spawn in an ocean biome, so you won't ever have any animals. If you need wool for a bed, get string from spiders and craft it into wool.
