    No achievements popping and Xbox not displaying status correctly.


    Just got the pc pass and to play Minecraft in particular but I noticed two strange things.

    1. Whenever I went on the xbox app and navigated to profile, it would display that I am playing minecraft even when I exited, alt f4ed and ended on task manager for prolonged periods of time until correctly displaying my status as online or playing a different game.

    2. No achievements would appear. I played human fall flat and tried to get a couple achievements but none would pop no matter how persistent I was. On the game bar, notifications were enabled. Subsequently, this was for every game, and on the Xbox app it also incorrectly displayed the game I was playing. Are these bugs correlated in any way as to the new windows update or is my laptop just plain stupid?

    Model: Dell Vostro 14 3435 with a ryzen 5 7530u, 16 GB DDR4 ram, Win 11 PRO update 24H2.

    FIXES: Tried the obvious ones:

    Reinstalling via MSFT store and powershell.

    Resetting app cache etc.

    Tried if any services and/or group policies were disabled as to affect the outcome of the app.

    Resetting any drivers

    Now I’m at the stage as to reset my laptop and pray the app works.

    Power cycling the xbox worked. The achievement pop up doesn't display instantly like it used to but it does pop up within a minute. Thanks.

    It's not the game that's broken, it's the achievement app that's broken for not displaying it correctly. Are you part of the insider program?

    Hi! There are currently issues because of which achievements may not display correctly on xbox.com Did you try to check with the Xbox-app for Windows 10 instead?
