No access to ea play having Gamepass ultimate

ea play will be added to ultimate gamepass for PC later this year, but you need ultimate gamepass for that, EA access is paid to EA directly so if you have ea access on console then you need a seperate one for PC direct from EA.

However, what you purchased (Xbox Live) is Xbox Gold. This is a subscription that provides access to online gaming.

It is not Gamepass so if you are looking for an active Gamepass after redeeming that 12-month Subscription, Gamepass will not show but Xbox Live or Xbox Gold should show.

gamepass is just that, it gives access to the games in gamepass, for online play you need gold on console, if you get gamepass ultimate then you get gold, gamepass, ea access and cloud gaming in one sub.

purchasing ea play on pc is through ea app or via steam, if you have ultimate gamepass on xbox then you get access to ea play on the ea app on pc if the accounts are linked.

if you only have ea play on xbox then you need a separate sub for ea play with the ea app or steam.

there are limited play anywhere title, most likely would have to buy the game on another platform like steam/epic/origin.

but if he has gamepass ultimate the he can access gamepass for pc too and ea access is joining that on dec 15th
