    No 4K on Prime Video


    Hi,

    I used to get 4K content on the Xbox One X Prime Video app, but since I have reset my console and gone back to standard release from preview release I only get HD I have checked the Xbox video settings and everything is set to 4K other 4 K content works.

    Netflix 4K ready on One X@launch?

    Anyone know if the Netflix app will be 4K ready one the One X at launch? Same for Amazon Prime Video?

    Netflix: No UHD on XBOX One S

    My internet connection is 300Mbit down/20Mbit up, so speed isn't the issue for me. I can run 4k Netflix just fine along with Prime Video on my Roku 4. My TV is not 4k @ 60Hz but it can do 4k at 50Hz, 30Hz, and 24Hz. I have tested this through my Roku
    4 and Android TV box. However, the XBOX One S says my TV fails everything. I am not sure how it determines what it does but it is clearly flawed! My Dashboard may not be displayed at 4k due to the 60Hz limitation but YouTube, Vudu, Prime Video, and Netflix
    should all run fine in 4k with no issues at all. UHD Blu-Ray discs should also play fine natively at 4k. Out of everything I have tried, I can't get a single one of them to even scale up to 4k. I do not have a UHD Blu-Ray disc to try and going out to buy
    one seems like a waste with how disappointing this One S experiences has turned out to be so far.

    It the S is supported then the original Xbox One should also be supported.
    Sorry, didnt know, that i have to ask in english.

    That means i can buy the old Xbox One and watch Netflix, amazon prime video and german Sky Ticket? And all apps for Xbox One, will work on the old first Xbox One witch 500GB?

    I dont need 4K gamig or 4K Video Streaming, because i dont have a 4K TV and dont like to buy one!

    Amazon prime HDCP issues error 7281

    I have a Sony XBR and I've encountered the same error with Prime, but only on my Xbox One X and like ChrisWoodcroft stated, once I disable the 4K display setting and switch my Xbox video over to 1080P, it appears to mitigate my chances running into this
    error. My PS4 and first generation Xbox One run Prime Video on my Sony XBR perfectly fine.

    Oddly though, I only encounter this error with Prime Video; Netflix and all other apps on my Xbox One X work just fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Prime Video, but to no avail in circumventing this HDCP error.

    I'm hoping the growing prevalence of this HDCP error is being noticed by Microsoft as it seems to be an Xbox-specific problem right now and I imagine a future update can easily remedy this.

    Will there be support for HDR10+ on the Xbox Series X/S?

    Because no media supports it yet.
    Media supporting HDR10+ as of now are amazon prime video and 4K UHD Bluray. A complete list of released discs can be found here: https://hd-report.com/list-of-4k-blu-ray-discs-with-hdr10/

    Games could also strongly benefit from supporting dynamic HDR metadata!

    Ummm I have an Xbox one x for one reason and that’s the amazing graphics so why is my 4K resolution off

    prime that nothing should have a 4k screen or monitor, second not all games have 4k resolution and those if you must download the 4k graphic patches
