Nintendo console games on the Xbox One?

Tbh, I've never been a fan of Nintendo consoles or games. When the SNES was the top console to own, I preferred the Megadrive. The only actual Nintendo I've owned is the N64, the kid's have a Wii but have rarely ever turned it on.

 

The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 2 and Devil's Third.

 

Cruz'n USA/World perhaps. Been a looooooong while since I even contenplated playing a Nintendo game.

 

I have a Wii U as well.

But Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Maker are probably my most played

 

smash bros and mario kart (basically all things mario) and also Pokemon and star fox games.

 

I have a Wii U in the household (belongs to the 5 year old) and out of the Games I've played on it I'm not a big fan. Tried Mario Maker and found the Tutorial fragmented and confusing. Tried Splatoon and its meh at best. Tried
Minecraft Wii U and well its Minecraft sans the different Button Layout.

Overall I like the Console UI Design (fun in a cute way, Sounds, Clicks and such) but I find the duality between the Controller Screen sometimes and the TV other times very frustrating. As much as I don't enjoy the Controller Screen I don't see how ports could
be made without compromising what is displayed on that Screen.

The transition of Zombi U from the Wii U to the Xbox One was well done considering the fact that I've never played the Wii U.

Zombi (Xbox One version) felt " natural " to me as the lack of the iPad Controller didn't seem to mess up the game

I would be beyond shocked if it makes it 8 more years.

As for Nintendo console games that are not Nintendo IP I am not sure. Mario Maker itself if pretty cool. My son, almost 3, is making some pretty cool stuff amazingly enough. He loves to throw some stuff on there and let my wife play it and they are both
challenging and fun. His does love to create levels that has an unpassable hole just wide enough you can almost make it. Then he gets his mom to play and she will try and jump and he laughs.

Mostly I have played Mario, Zelda, Yoshi, Kirby, Pikmin, and things like that on it. Deus Ex is nice but it is also already on Xbox and other places. Same with Mass Effect 3. Xenoblades is probably the only thing I have played that I would like to see
somewhere else and that would be PC.

 

Only franchise on Nintendo side I like is Pokemon and those are on the handhelds. The rest of their ip's I'm not a fan of.

 

Hey Lei, my answer is all of them

WiiU with Homebrew and Nintendont = lot's of ngc games, tonnes of N64 titles, endless emulated "Other consoles". Be cheaper and more realistic to buy a Wii U if you're really interested.

I loved my NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube all back in the day, mates round for Mario Kart tournaments and Zelda Ocarina of Time etc, but I haven't played a Nintendo now for probably 10 years plus (except for a Wii that sat unused under my TV except for Wii Bowling),
so personally I think they are best left as nostalgia. I might like to give Mario Kart and Zelda a bash again, but I just don't think they would live up to my fond memories.
