Night mode on Xbox one x even is a insider

It's not up to Microsoft how games are developed for use on the Xbox One X, it's for developers to decide how they create their games and what performance level they're after.

Some games already have performance mode and 4K modes. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a good example of this. Run the game in Performance mode and it will run at 60 fps @ 1080P. The 'Quality mode' runs the game at 4K (or near 4K) @ 30 fps.

This disparity between 30 fps and 60 fps is the reason why I'm now more of a PC gamer then an console gamer. I still enjoy my Xbox and Switch, but for raw performance in certain games, I choose PC.

Performance in games isn't just down to what the graphics hardware can achieve. The Xbox One X is no exception here. Sure, the GPU capabilities were increased for the One X, but the heart of the machine, its CPU, wasn't changed. It's still the same AMD
Jaguar architecture that sits inside the original Xbox One and the One S, just clocked slightly higher. Its not even a true 8 core processor.

Thanks for coming to the Xbox Community. According to an Xbox News Article from October when Night Mode was released, "Night Mode on the Xbox Series X|S also adds a customizable blue light filter for your display." The blue light filter is not compatible with the Xbox One S.

Maybe is because the console you have is on the insider program and the one x is not...I am insider and I do have the avatar editor on my xbox one x.

To be honest, even if you don't own a 4k TV I would still suggest getting the Xbox One X simply because of the horsepower, it's equivalent to a gtx980 !! Faster load times, better framerate, performance and quality modes and X enhanced games ! The Xbox
One S is great but the One X is a no brainer in terms of performance.
