NHL Gamecenter Issue?

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with the NHL app?

When I launch it, it displays empty tiles and doesn't prompt me to login. I can navigate through the different menus (Home, Scores, Videos), but not much else.

Tried calling both the NHL and Microsoft and keep getting bounced around.

Nhl gamecenter download is not available

Search appstore for "nhl". Its not called gamecenter anymore.

 

NHL Game Center

I found the NHL app on the Xbox store but all it does is let you see news and video clips. There is no way to activate your Gamecenter subscription.

The NHL website is quite confusing as it mentions both an NHL app and a NHL Gamecenter app.

We're going to start with the basics. Uninstall the app by hitting the Menu button while the app is highlighted > Manage app > highlight the app and hit the Menu button again > Uninstall. Then hold the power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts off.
Turn it back on and install the app again.

I am also having the same issues. I did what you recommended, but still the same problem as the original user described. There is just nowhere to sign in for this app.

 

Also, when I try to go to a game, it says the following:

"Content Not Available

Access to premium content requires and NHL.com account that has a valid GameCenter Live subscription. You may sign in from the application settings menu."

And yes, I do have a GameCenter Live account that I use for my ps3 and xbox 360.

 

If you havent figured it out already you need to hit the "start" button to bring up the application menu and pick sign in. That will let you sign into gamecenter live and watch games.

 

Where is the "start" button on the Xbox one? Is it on the controller? Wanted to catch last night's Devils game but I couldn't figure out where to sign in.

 

I got it now, thanks !!! The instructions are terrible and does not mention that.

 

The3rdConchord, the start button is immediately to the left of the "X" button.

 

Thanks for this. Xbox needs to take a look at their app and explain how to find the settings menu. (And inform everyone what the "Start button" is.)

 

Hey, everyone! Glad to see you were able to sign in! To sort out any confusion, there is no "Start" button on these controllers. It's now called the "Menu" button. This button brings up the menu for most apps on the Xbox One and is how you control a lot
of settings on there.
