NHL App 2.14.1.70 can't connect

Never had a problem with the app working before but now I keep getting the attached message when opening the app. Things I have tried:

Uninstall and when opening the app the initial logo appears then the error message

Power cycle

I have no issues with my wired connections as other apps and games work ok.

I have two xbox's, Xbox One Original and Xbox One X (OS version 10.0.17763.3066) and both have the sames issue. The only strange thing is that on my Xbox One Original there is another account on there and this account can access the app ok. I have some
friends who have said they get the same issue and there are a couple of review on the store saying they are getting the same. I've contact NHL TV Support but they can't replicate the issue, so are saying they can't help any more.

Any help on getting this sorted would be appreciated.

I've tried emailing the NHL, they've been surprisingly helpful in the past.

You'd hope they were at least aware of the issue...

Can you tell me who this is and how to contact them?

A few of us have tried contacting the NHL, but have had no response (and I suspect it's a third party developer anyway).

And should it really come down to users having to dig out details of a software developer to get this fixed?

Just had a DM from NHL TV support and they have confirmed developers looking into this but no timeline on a fix
