NHL 2015 once free with gold, now need EA Access

Hello,

This last weekend I downloaded NHL 2015 for xbox one for free because it said "Free with gold". This was the full version of the game and I played it all last week. I went to play today and it prompts me saying i don't own the game. Now its only listed as
free with EA access.

It appears Microsoft rescinded the game and I no longer own it. Does anyone know whats going on here or any idea and care to shed some light.

nhl rewards 1 month ea access code not valid

need new code for 1 month ea access trial as the other nhl rewards one isnt valid

Part of being an NHL rewards member . previously an ea access member for 12 months (purchased 6th september 2015). brought nhl 16 free as part of ea access.

I didn't get my EA Access?

I bought NHL 17 a couple weeks ago which came with 1 month free of EA Access, and still have yet to receive my code for EA Access.

 

Just looked at the entire list of gwg games for xbox one since console launch, nhl 2015 is NOT on that list. Not sure how you got it free, but it was not through gwg.

 

Yea its pretty strange. I swear there was a "free with gold" button. When I clicked it I was able to install the entire game, I know it wasn't the demo, because I was playing the demo for a while.

I don't disagree that its not listed as gwg, but I'm almost convinced there was a bug or something where they released it for free with gold for a short period of time or something.

 

NHL 15 was part of EA Access' Free Play Days as part of E3. It was only free to play until June 22 if you have a gold subscription. In order to keep playing it, you would need to purchase the game or have EA Access.

 

Ah theres the answer, I knew i wasn't crazy.

 

The button that let you download it said nothing about EA access. It showed absolutely now sign of being related to EA access. It was the same button they use with gwg games, pretty confusing for the end user.

It should have said "Free Play Days" underneath and the info about that was in the description of the game at the time.

 

Yea prob didn't read the fine text, just saw the free with gold and thought gwg.

 

from E3,, EA access was free with gold for a week or so... that has now expired

Just get EA access its well worth it

EA Access is 110% worth it. Especially now that there are so many games in the vault. I thought it was worth it even when there was only 3 games in there lol

 

I think there's 12 games in the vault. Absurd to not get EA access now. They will raise the price sooner or later. Like to be locked in now...
