NHL 19 License revoked?

Hey all,

So far Xbox support hasn't been helpful in this, and I want to know if anyone else has had this issue. I have been playing NHL 19 for months now. I got it through Games with Gold (this is very important information for my issue). I tried to load it up yesterday
(March 10th) and no go. I get an error code (0x803f8007) and it says to play this game I need to purchase it. The thing is, because I got it through Games with Gold, I didn't purchase it in the first place, it was free with the membership. I'm not going to
go pay the $51 to get it, but I don't know what happened that made it stop working. Did they revoke a license? I don't know how that works with the GwG thing because I assumed Xbox paid a lump sum to give games for free to their gold members.

Anyone else having this issue?

Just make sure you are still a gold member or gamepass member. Once you stop gold or gamepass you lose all those games . You must be a menber to use those games.

Do you still have a gold subscription? The games only remain free if you keep gold. If your subscription ran out, you would no longer be able to play it for free unless you renew.

I have exactly the same problem!

Game shows in my order history but I can no longer start NHL 19. I bought a code to redeem as

NHL 19 - Unlock keys.
