NFL on Xbox One App - NFL Network doesn't work

The old thread got locked because it was less than a year old, even though the question was never answered and the issue was never fixed. So I decided to make a new thread.

The NFL app on Xbox One won't let me (and many others) use it to watch NFL Network. I have opened the app, logged into a DirecTV account to activate NFL Network through the app, but it still refuses to let me watch the channel through the app.

It says, "Sorry, this video isn't available right now. Please try again later."

I'm not sure why it does that, but I would love to actually be able to watch the channel I pay for.

SC Marx...This does not work and I doubt it is working for you either. You would not immediately hear NFL Network start as you say. What you might have heard was NFL Now which is very different. NFL Now is on the main screen of the app and immediately plays
when the app is launched. NFL Now is a series of current video clips of sports reporters about 3 minutes each. Look at the menus at the bottom of the screen when you launch the app. The NFL Network is the live broadcast the NFL Network channel the same as
what is currently being broadcasted on your cable TV. The NFL Network is on page two after selecting Channel Guide from the bottom menu of the main screen/page one. NFL Network plays on my Xbox 360, but not on my Xbox One.

Another side note: for whatever reason, the app doesn't allow Dish Network accounts to authorize NFL Network and NFL RedZone, even though I pay for both channels through that.

It used to have Dish Network, I believe. But not anymore.

 

Never mind on that Dish part. I forgot that greedy company dropped NFL Network.
