NFL App won't load

Nope. No football for us. They don't even consider it a problem. Despite Quimby says, no one is working on it at Xbox at all. That was what I learned from hours of tech support calls yesterday (before I was hung up on, again). I'd ask for a portion of your
money back until it's fixed and you start getting what you paid for. THIS QUESTION IS NOT ANSWERED.

Xbox One NFL App

I try to get onto the NFL App to re-watch some of the 2017-18 NFL Season with my Gamepass subscription. And the NFL App won't load, it says thanks for 2017, we'll be back in 2018. When will this app be available again?

 

Anyone else having loading/streaming problems with the NFL app, (NFL Now Plus)?

I have just recently started having problems getting the NFL app to load up. Sometimes it just hangs on the loading screen and just won't load up. Over the past weekend I purchased the NFL Now Plus within the app and since then the problems started. Last
night it did finally load up but the NFL Now Plus streaming content kept stopping and eventually began to studder and my Xbox One shut off. This has never happened before. I can watch the videos with no problem on the PC, but it appears broken on the Xbox
One. Anyone else experiencing this?

 

There's got to be something we all have in common. I don't use OneGuide or whatever their little TV service is. I THINK I was already logged into the app when it updated. I use Time Warner Cable. I'm wondering if everyone can share their setup and we can
figure out if there's a common denominator?

 

I use TWC and have always used TWC. I have a friend who also has TWC and his App is working. I also have a friend that has a different internet service provider and his is also working. Thanks for all the help Mr Quimby!

It just amazes me that the customer reps when you call say that they have never heard of anyone else having this problem.

yeah the verified answer is kind of crazy. Like, it's clear this is kind of a big problem. I'm going to share the results of the investigation by the Microsoft folks in my Reditt thread the moment I get them. In the meantime, if this gets fixed for anyone,
we should share how it got corrected.

 

I've tried quite a bit to get it fixed, but not a single solution has worked yet. My app, just like everyone else's, worked fine before the update. The update comes along, and now it won't launch correctly.

I've done the whole router and unplugging schtick they keep saying, and that didn't work either. There likely needs to be an update here soon, and I just hope it comes before the NFL season.

Mister Quimby, are you the one who can let me know if an NFL Sunday Ticket app is coming to the Xbox One before the start of the season? Or will my subscription only go through the NFL app?

I'm seeing mixed reports on both. On DirecTV's website, it says to look out for the new NFL Sunday Ticket app, but last year, it was through the NFL app.

 

I'm also experiencing this issue and have tried all of the steps. I used the app all of last season and had it connected to Sunday Ticket as well as NFL.com fantasy. It stopped working once the app updated.

I have TWC for internet and DirecTV for "cable". Login information is not the same.

 

Solution:

Go buy an apple TV for 89$ borrow your GF's old I pod download the app sit back and enjoy watching football.

It honestly that easy, yet another reason why apple will rule the world one day.

I spoke with Xbox support on the phone AGAIN. They still believe it's not their problem and they are NOT working on it. FYI we are up to 8 people with the same problem. Granted that's a tiny fraction of the users of this app but that number will go way up
on 9/10 when the opening night game fails to load on a lot more consoles. The only reason I keep posting here is because it's the only place other humans acknowledge the problem. Microsoft's response has been appalling.

 

Did all the steps..... uninstalled and installed. and nothing. hey xbox fix this before the season starts lol

 

Every team in the NFL played tonight. MR QUIMBY I'm a Bills fan. Can you tell me how they did? DusterW22 I tested Apple TV and the App the other night and of course it worked, but unfortunately the XBOX app when it worked last year was so much better.
