Discus and support NFL app, Redzone channel inactive in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I've tried contacting Directv but they're clueless as to any issues as they claimed they escalated my case to technicians, but that was a week ago and...     NFL app, Redzone channel inactive


    I've tried contacting Directv but they're clueless as to any issues as they claimed they escalated my case to technicians, but that was a week ago and I haven't heard back from them. I have NFL Sunday TIcket Max and I keep receiving this error every Sunday
    when I try to watch games on the NFL app. Everything is active except the Redzone channel. I've tried re-installing the app, logging in and out multiple times, etc but nothing works and it keeps showing Redzone inactive, despite being able to use any other
    device (laptop, ipad, etc) and view all game channels including Redzone.

    NFL app not activating Redzone even when I am subscribed to it.

    I downloaded the nfl app and selected my provider. I am subbed to both nfl network and nfl redzone from my cable provider (optimum) and after I link my provider, it says NFL NETWORK: ACTIVE, NFL REDZONE: INACTIVE.

    Actually you probablywon't see directv in that list, the NFL redzone in the NFL app is the NFL operated version that they sell to cable networks outside of the Directv Sunday Ticket package. With DTV there is no stand alone redzone channel so they assume
    you'll be watching it from home or via the NFL Sunday Ticket DTV app.

    Almost sold on Xbox One.

    XB1 w/ NFL.. you get fantasy football leagues live while playing games... watching TV movies ETC, either with snap or a ticket on the bottom.... the NFL signed a huge deal with MS... and you can access The Redzone Channel (http://redzonetv.nfl.com/)
    through the NFL app.... you do need to be a cable subscriber of a network that carries the Redzone channel.... however the redzone is channel is owned by the NFL so that might change... rumors are we will get a live game that is not under contract from
    direct TV Sunday ticket (Monday, Thursday or Sunday night games)...

    After being in a fantasy league.... seeing the basic set up of the NFL app on the 360... I personally cannot wait for the XB1 version of being on XBL, watching the redzone and have my scores up on the screen

    Can you watch the RedZone channel through your Xbox One NFL App as long as you log into your say Comcast account (inside the app) and subscribe to that Red Zone channel??

    NFL on Xbox One App - NFL Network doesn't work

    Another side note: for whatever reason, the app doesn't allow Dish Network accounts to authorize NFL Network and NFL RedZone, even though I pay for both channels through that.

    It used to have Dish Network, I believe. But not anymore.
