Is the NFL App going to be available on XBox One for the 2018-19 football season?

NFL App won't load

Mister Quimby, are you the one who can let me know if an NFL Sunday Ticket app is coming to the Xbox One before the start of the season? Or will my subscription only go through the NFL app?

I'm seeing mixed reports on both. On DirecTV's website, it says to look out for the new NFL Sunday Ticket app, but last year, it was through the NFL app.

Agreed. This was one of the reasons I upgraded. Where is my nfl app? Why is there no nfl app? When will there be an nfl app? And so on and so forth.

Yes. There is an NFL app on the store, with a release date listed as August 3, 2018. From what I've seen the NFL app is usually shut down for the off season, and many times they release a new app as the season starts up. It's a bit weird, with the recent
release date, and it's not really showing up in searches properly, but this is the App for Xbox One I'm talking about. It'll show up if you search directly on the Xbox One in the store: Get NFL - Microsoft Store

But I'd say you shouldn't worry, but if it doesn't work, you should just forget about it and watch Rugby USA Rugby

I think you mean "NFL On Xbox One" app. That one seems to have disappeared. This current NFL app doesn't seem to have access to Sunday ticket which was the main reason I got it. Maybe they'll reinstall the app b4 the season starts.... hopefully

It could depend on where you live.

Here in germany it's not available anymore this year- sadly !

This does not work and I doubt it is working for you either. You would not immediately hear NFL Network start as you say. What you might have heard was NFL Now which is very different. NFL Now is on the main screen of the app and immediately plays when
the app is launched. NFL Now is a series of current video clips of sports reporters about 3 minutes each. Look at the menus at the bottom of the screen when you launch the app. The NFL Network is the live broadcast the NFL Network channel the same as what
is currently being broadcasted on your cable TV. The NFL Network is on page two after selecting Channel Guide from the bottom menu of the main screen/page one. NFL Network plays on my Xbox 360, but not on my Xbox One.
