NFL app on Xbox One

So I'm really not sure what else to do at this point. I complained that the NFL app was only showing "Sorry this video is currently unavailable, please try again later." when trying to watch NFL Network through the app.

Now the app won't even launch. The loading screen comes up and once it gets to 100% I get the following error

"Check on Xbox Live Services

Check that Xbox Live services are running normally at xbox.com/status. If all services are running normally, follow the steps at xbox.com/xboxone/multiplayerchat for more troubleshooting options (0x8000fff)"

I'm so frustrated. Everything else I use (Sling, Xbox Live Multiplayer, Netflix) all work fine and I get no errors. The issue with the NFL app seems to be getting worse and the football season is starting in a few weeks. NFL doesn't explicitly offer assistance
for the Xbox One app and I have tried multiple times to contact their digital care team for help with no luck. They always seem to just send a canned message saying that they fixed the issue and I should try again.

Is there a fix being worked on by NFL or Xbox at this point?

NFL App won't load

Mister Quimby, are you the one who can let me know if an NFL Sunday Ticket app is coming to the Xbox One before the start of the season? Or will my subscription only go through the NFL app?

I'm seeing mixed reports on both. On DirecTV's website, it says to look out for the new NFL Sunday Ticket app, but last year, it was through the NFL app.

Agreed. This was one of the reasons I upgraded. Where is my nfl app? Why is there no nfl app? When will there be an nfl app? And so on and so forth.

My app launches with no issue, but I go have the same issue trying to watch the NFL network through it - "Sorry this video is currently unavailable". This only happens through the Xbox app. I can watch easily through my windows 10 pc, so I don't know what
is up. Hope they fix it soon as I would like to watch it on tv.

This does not work and I doubt it is working for you either. You would not immediately hear NFL Network start as you say. What you might have heard was NFL Now which is very different. NFL Now is on the main screen of the app and immediately plays when
the app is launched. NFL Now is a series of current video clips of sports reporters about 3 minutes each. Look at the menus at the bottom of the screen when you launch the app. The NFL Network is the live broadcast the NFL Network channel the same as what
is currently being broadcasted on your cable TV. The NFL Network is on page two after selecting Channel Guide from the bottom menu of the main screen/page one. NFL Network plays on my Xbox 360, but not on my Xbox One.
