NFL app for Xbox one not starting up for reason?

My NFL App on my Xbox one system won't start up. A massage pops up thats says enjoy the updates but then closes out immediately. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and also restarting the system and still the same thing. Anyone having the same
issue or know have to fix it? Im having football withdraws my dudes!

NFL Sunday Ticket App - support for nflsundayticket.tv / DirectTV

I recently signed up for DirecTV's service that allows users who can;t get satelite service in their area to get streaming NFL Sunday Ticket.

They claim there is an Xbox One app specific for this service yet there is no App to be found in the store. Their links for the supposed App all lead back to the Xbox store site.

The only NFL related App is the NFL.com app which is NOT the App that is required.

Where is this App?

Dear Microsoft,

What happened to the NFL app a message pops up saying “Thank you to all our dedicated fans for the support over the 2017 NFL season! We invite you to watch for updates to the NFL App this summer as we head towards the upcoming 2018 NFL season on Xbox One.”
When will the app be back online the hall of fame game just passed so the preseason just started.

I am having the same issues. I’ve uninstalled reinstalled, but nothing works. Hopefully someone figures this out soon.

I think you mean "NFL On Xbox One" app. That one seems to have disappeared. This current NFL app doesn't seem to have access to Sunday ticket which was the main reason I got it. Maybe they'll reinstall the app b4 the season starts.... hopefully

Agreed. This was one of the reasons I upgraded. Where is my nfl app? Why is there no nfl app? When will there be an nfl app? And so on and so forth.

Mister Quimby, are you the one who can let me know if an NFL Sunday Ticket app is coming to the Xbox One before the start of the season? Or will my subscription only go through the NFL app?

I'm seeing mixed reports on both. On DirecTV's website, it says to look out for the new NFL Sunday Ticket app, but last year, it was through the NFL app.

Yes. There is an NFL app on the store, with a release date listed as August 3, 2018. From what I've seen the NFL app is usually shut down for the off season, and many times they release a new app as the season starts up. It's a bit weird, with the recent
release date, and it's not really showing up in searches properly, but this is the App for Xbox One I'm talking about. It'll show up if you search directly on the Xbox One in the store: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/nfl/9p0cjl0f7b74?cid=msft_web_search
