NFL 2K15 would make a great XBOX exclusive!

The NFL has lost antitrust lawsuits in the American Needle & EA Madden monopoly cases. Microsoft should make an exclusive deal with Take 2 for an NFL game. A lot of football gamers are upset at being restricted to Madden. People are still playing AFL 2k8.

DirecTV has the NFL Sunday Ticket exclusive rights. I think they lose it after the 2014 NFL Season so maybe MS will make a bid for it. Would be awesome!

Xbox One games quit to Xbox One Dashboard

Occasionally I will be playing a game like NBA 2K15 or Madden NFL 15 my Xbox will just quit the game and sometimes just freeze and quit to Dashboard.

It sounds like they could still pay the NFL for an exclusive deal and just pay another 27 million in legal fees, considering they probably make a lot more than that in profits on the game.

It doesn't work like that. Take 2 would have to sign a deal with the NFL, assuming EA doesn't want to renew their agreement. The best thing that could happen is the NFL deciding that having just one NFL game is not the way to go.

It would be nice to have a choice again, that way maybe madden wouldn't rehash the same game with a few tweaks here and there every year.

I would love an NFL 2K game but EA doesn't seem to want any kind of competition, so they'll continue to pay for exclusivity until the NFL tells them otherwise. Sony owns first-party rights to MLB games, so you won't see MS making one. They also don't seem
very interested in making a sports game, save for NFL Fever back in the day.
