Next Xbox One Update Discussion! Being able to record game chat & party chat

Don't you guys think that Microsoft should add a feature where we can record the game chat & party chat in videos on the next Xbox One update? Instead of just recording the gameplay. I record alot of gameplay on my Xbox One, but it kinda upsets me a bit
that i can record the gameplay, but not the game chat or party chat.

Voice messaging coming to Xbox One!!

They've been saying this is something they will be adding ever since before the system has come out. Unless you have a date of when it will be here, nothing else is new.

At the least you could have posted the damn tweet.

Edit: Oh look, it's coming in the April update. That would have been the new info we're looking for. Looks like it's rolling out to preview members tonight.

Check out the list below for features in the April preview update that are starting to roll out tonight:

• Voice messages – Xbox One preview program members will be able to compose and playback voice messages in the messages app when snapped on Xbox One. Quickly and easily record audio to send to your friends or others through your snapped messages app accessed through a simple quick double tap of the Xbox button. Additionally, voice messages can be exchanged between Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.

• Dedicated servers for party chat – We’re enhancing party chat with dedicated chat relay servers that will enable Xbox One owners that may have historically had NAT issues to party chat more reliably. Parties where players are unable to form direct peer-to-peer connections for party chat will automatically leverage dedicated server infrastructure to relay traffic. This service is only enabled for parties where one or more members are previewing the April system update.

• What’s On – The Xbox engineering team is continuing to experiment with the What’s On area, which highlights popular videos, movies, TV shows and game broadcasts. We’re continuing to test different experiences for preview members in the U.S. and this month, the preview of this feature is being expanded to Canada and the UK as well.

God damn. This update is awesome. Finally we can record party chat through capture cards and Twitch.

Purchasing Xbox 360 games through the Xbox One store took long enough.

Changing recording lengths up to 5 minutes at the press of a button is what I really wanted for a while now.

 

No, because that could lead to huge invasion of privacy lawsuits.

Trying using a PVR. I have the Hauppauge HD PVR2 and upload personal and mainly Xbox 360 gameplays and Xbox 1 gameplays to my Youtube channel. My PVR records game chat but records Xbox Live Party chat and game chat, as well as game sound. I've had no problems
even have some friends involved. I do get a very few copyright notices (background music). Don't tell me Microsoft restricted Xbox 1 by my PVR not able to record game/party chat on Xbox 1. My PVR uses HDMI in and HDMI out connection, one to the console the
other to my HDTV. Xbox 1 should be able to play game/party chat through your HDTV speakers, something which XBOX 360 does.

 

Just the ability to do it with my cap card would he fine.
