Next puzzles won't unlock

I have a problem with puzzles not unlocking after successfully finishing the previous one. Only 5 puzzles unlock in easy, medium and hard difficulty. The sixth puzzle will not unlock even after multiple wins (while logged in).

Is this a known issue and how can I resolve it?

System is fully updated, game was uninstalled and reinstalled but this didn't work either.

Any hints on this?

Puzzle is completed, but next puzzle is not unlocked.

I complete puzzles, but next puzzle doesn't unlock. I purchased a yearly subscription. How can I get the next puzzle to unlock as the lock puzzle tells me to play the puzzle that I have already played and completed. Please help!

Won't unlock next puzzle...

I'm having the same problem, won't unlock next puzzle no matter how many times I beat the game. Brand new computer purchased Feb 1 2015. Help!

 

I don't have any hints but I am having the same problem that you are having. Is there anyone that can help us out on this issue?

Microsoft Mahjong has new puzzles to solve. Have solved the new puzzles in the different categories [Easy "Bumps" - Medium "Coffee Cups" - Hard "Keys"] but the next puzzle won't unlock. I have solved each of these puzzles at least three or more times.

I do like the fact that the Daily Challenges finally all open and don't lock up.

We are not the only ones having this bug. I also contacted them over Facebook and the answer I got was the following:

The test team is not able to reproduce this error, so they would like to know if you are able to zip up the following folder and send it to us so that we can look into what's happening with the game on your specific system.

They need the LocalState folder, which can be found here: C:\Users\<Your_Username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftMahjong_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState

If you are able to zip up that folder, please email it to us at *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** with the subject "Mahjong LocalState Zip File".

I did this and got an almost immediate reply. They are now still hunting this bug down but I'm confident they will find it.

PS. It seems I can't do backslashes here...but you should get it

 

I am having the same issue but couldn't find where to report this bug. I can't zip up files but hope they fix it soon. Thank you for this thread its been helpful.

 

Same issue here. I have a clean and frech Windows and the problem is already there.

I asked them recently if they have found something related to this bug and the answer I got was like this:

"The dev team believes they have found the issue and are working with the Xbox Live team to get this fixed and an update out as soon as possible. As soon as I hear when the update is ready, we will make a post on the page so that everyone who is experiencing
this will know to grab the update."

So stay tuned and get the update as soon as it is ready...

Not yet, but I think it's time to ask them once again. I will do so now and report back...

 

Good news: the fix is currently being tested and once it passes through the testing process (which should be this week or early next week), it will be propagated to all players.

I have an update on the unlock problem. The fix was deployed, and doing the following did help many. Uninstall Mahjong> restart pc> wsreset.exe>reinstall mahjong. However as of 6/1/2015 a different issue is still plaguing some. Use facebook for support
