Next Preview update is going live!

Xbox One System Update Now Available for Preview Members

Today we’re rolling out several of the new social and entertainment features we shared earlier this week, with
the addition of a few unannounced features, to the members previewing new system updates. Your input on feedback.xbox.com plays a big role in shaping these updates, which will roll out to all Xbox One owners in the coming months.

October update

The October preview group is still getting new updates in the preview program. The latest one was last night. This will probably be the last update since it seems their are no known bugs in it. So probably by next week the Oct update will go live for normal users and us preview guys will get the Nov update towards Oct 20th or something.

This is just how the updates have been working lately.

I got a part of the update. Still need the Friends section and I'm really looking forward to the Media Player app.

Haven't watched the video yet, but from what I read is pretty amazing update.

However I would have liked so see some sort of Backwards Compatibility feature added.. at least to play some 360 games.

 

Look forward to being able to play music (and other media) from my old HTC, which I now use solely as an mp3 player.
