Next generation xbox in 2017?

I am a firm believer that this generation of console will not last as long as the previous generation of consoles did. Mainly because of the technology that was put into them. 2 years in and devs are already having to remove features I may not care about
like split screen, they can't run at 1080p 60fps, in order to achieve 60fps locked they have to sacrifice so much of the game and implement so many things to the game just so the fps does not drop.

These consoles are supposed to be superior to the last gen but they run the same when it comes to the next generation of games. Most have to be locked at 30fps which is not good at all.

So I'm asking if we will see a real next generation xbox windows pc hybrid for the living room announced in 2017?

Next Generation Xbox

I got a 5 year old computer and with the recent upgrades. Looks like it will be better than the next generation Xbox. I expected ALOT more. I might be switching to PC gameing, or even go back to Playstation especially if Playstation 4 specs out do and out
performs the so called 720. Come on...Xbox team...I want a min 8g ram, blue ray player that playes and records all, a terabite hard drive, 4g video, dedicated reverse compatiblity and that should include ALL the old classic original xbox games etc etc. I mean
it should be as good as a current top end PC game rig. Even better since it will be a dedicated game console.

 

Next Generation Xbox

We all know Nintendo annouced the Wii U , what do you guys think about the next gen Xbox

 

I think we will see the current generation last less time than the last but I would still expect the Xbox One to have at least another 3-4 years before Microsoft announces anything new. There is still a massive amount of people playing on 360 and there
probably will be for at least another year, it doesn't make sense for them to introduce a new console so soon when the X1 has only been around since 2013. The current generation may be under-powered but they certainly outperform last gen consoles, last gen
copies of Black Ops 3 had features cut for a reason.

 

Yea, definitely not going to happen. If you're so concerned about FPS and resolution, you would be better served with a $1,000 PC instead of a $350 console.
