Next generation of consoles

On the next generations of consoles to come out, could you guys make two different models. One being whatever you're currently making and another being a high specifications one. The latter being able to play all games at 60 frames per second. I know
it would cost more and the console would cost more because of that, but I would be willing to pay it for every game being a nice 60fps.

    :)

I am not ready at all for the next gen console. Very glad the new PS3 or new 360 didnt come out this year.
Can I ask why? I'm quite curious it has been 7 years the hardware is quite dated and graphics wise we've peaked, and no publishers aside from Sony are taking risks and we've lost Twinkies and Wonderbread. So aside from backlogs why?
1. New hardware always comes with new problems. (PS3 YROD / 360 RROD and many other issues)

    2. I have an overwhelming amount of games to play on the 360 already. There are enough games already on the 360 to keep me busy for a lifetime. Constantly backlogged.

    3. I have a PS3 for exclusives and Blu-ray that mainly collects dust. I know I wont buy a PS4.

    4. I am still backlogged on hundreds of PC and PS2 games.

    5. I just recently bought a brand new slim 360 320gb hd.
I respectfully disagree with number 1. This gen is really the only one that I can remember with hardware issues.
You really dont remember all the issues the PS1 or PS2 had? My very first PS2 out of the box didint work. The 2nd one directly from Sony had a failure and the drive locked up and smoke poured out. The 3rd one lasted forever. I still have the 3rd one.
Just about every console has had launch problems. The only way to avoid it is not buy the console day 1. .

    .

The ONLY console I never had a problem with was the black brick xbox but I didnt buy that at launch. I didnt buy it until a couple years after the xbox existed. So it was an updated better version. But I seriously NEVER had 1 single problem with mine or
my wifes brick xbox. Never had a single problem with any of the games either. But every console has issues at launch. It has always been that way. The 360 has been by far the most defective console we owned. Just terrible. . Its the worst console I have
owned, but on the other hand I have had the most fun in my life with this console. Its a double edged sword.

Microsoft already has plans to release Scropio late this year. It will have 320GB/s bandwidth, 4k Blu-ray disc drive, but it will be more expensive than the RRP NZ$638 price tag Sony has put on PS4 Pro. Also console gaming will not beat high end PC hardware.
I don't think Scorpio will beat my Intel Core i7-6700k CPU (4Ghz-4.2Ghz clock speed, 4 cores, 8 threads). Even my AMD R9 390 has a higher bandwidth (384GB/s) than that proposed for Xbox Scorpio (320GB/s). You can buy a custom PC with better hardware, for cheaper
than the price tag Microsoft with throw at Xbox Scorpio. But some people prefer the simplicity of console gaming.

You don't know what it will be priced at. No one does, it's all speculation. It could be as little as €500 for all we know.

USR @ Are you saying to remove the applications from Xbox? That's ridiculous, it only denies more ways of entertainment and fun.

Well, it's been 7 years, and despite people hoping for an announcement at this past E3... still nothing. 10 years give or take 1 seems legit.

It will be interesting to see if/when MS will shut down XBL on the 360 like they did the OX.

I'm really curious in how they can improve the network with newer hardware.

Just like PS2 games haven't died after a decade, I see 360 going on just as long, but it would be significantly lower if they become LIVE disabled.
to be fair the original xbox wasn't that old, when the nextbox came out, heck live was younger then the console, this gen 360 is old and might get continued support.
