Next gen rushed buggy games are to be expected?

Hello everyone

I think that the reason the the games now are so unpolished when released is because developers are now relying more on patches to fix the game after they come out instead of making sure that it is good to go before it comes out.

Yes, I know that the games now are bigger & better, but that is to be expected for each console generation.

Take a look at the Original Xbox, no day one patch required to make the games work.

Take a look at the Xbox 360 games, no day one patch required to make the games work.

Out of all the new gen games I've purchased, BF4 was definitely the worst.

Other than that, sure I've had games that have had a few bugs/glitches, nothing game breaking though and that includes Assassins Creed Unity. I know others have had issues with it but apart from the odd message about being disconnected from the Ubisoft servers
and one frame rate dip it's been absolutely fine for me, I must be one of the luck ones.

So like Goatsnatcher above, I'm just going to carry on enjoying my gaming, it isn't perfect but it's still for me ALOT of fun.

You expected DICE to remove BF4 features from the game with the latest update?

In all seriousness though wait for it..... I agree with Below, Mostly.

For a long time i've refused to do pre orders on games that hold reviews until after the release or just haven't proven to be living up to the hype. Passed on Watch dogs, AC unity and still passing on Hardline.

I have pre loaded/Preordered a few games lately by about 2 days (Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Destiny ) and have not been disappointed with what I got as the games were solid and very playable and enjoyable from the moment I either saw early reviews
or Played a demo or Beta of said game.

Still, this has been the best fun I've had in gaming in a long time maybe I have developed a radar for Crud games or a little bit more patience to wait until after release to see the final product.

Voting with the wallet is the only Answer and pre ordering One year- 6 months out is a no no in my books.

I only have had a few issues since i picked up my x1 at the midnight release biggest 1 being BF4 but they fixed alot of the issues i was having besides that ive been loving every min spent on my x1
