Next Gen Problems that need to be fixed.

I think the Xbox One is an amazing system that has a lot of potential, the specs, control pad, exclusives, features, os, apps, game case, accessories etc and also Microsoft listening to us fans by removing Drm and the used games policy before it's release,
making third party apps free to use, bringing games with gold every month, deals with gold, more focused on games instead of tv, a kinect less bundle and more.

But there still is a problem with the Xbox One and just next gen as a whole, of course there still is the resolution problem with the Xbox 1, game recording not always working and can only record up to 5 minutes, uploading speed is super slow. A 10 second
clip can take up to 6 minutes to upload, when it's finally uploaded and ready to play, the video looks like a complete mess when it comes to resolution, up to 480p of game recording but the resolution on my Xbox One plays at 240p to 360p. The same can be said
about using video streaming apps, "poor resolution, fix it Microsoft".

Now back to the Next Gen problem as a whole, game installs, "whyyyy!".

I understand when it comes to digital games and dlc, but why on earth would anyone want to install a game on disc, and i mean the entire game that takes up to 50gb of you hard-drive space. I've had the Xbox 1, 500gb before it was out of the box, 300gb after
the boot update and now with 4 games on disc 148gb left, what happened to the days of a person walking into a room after a hard day at work, turning on the console and pops in the new game he or she just bought "on disc", and then having to wait up to 40 minutes
or so for the game to be installed.

Why cant next gen be more like the previous consoles, where you pop in the disc and ready to play, even if it's a small installation, i don't mind as long as it doesn't install the entire game. Am sure those games that you saw at E3 are going to take a hell
lot of your hard-drive space.This is the reason why people are moving to Pc.

Pc= Installations

Next Gen= Installations with less powerful hardware

Consoles= No Installations

Xbox 360 is fine ive been on with friends. Sorry next gen is experiencing problems lol. Microsoft should have it fixed soon.

 

Was Your Early Adoption of the Xbox One Worth It?

I'm so pleased I waited (still am), I'll wait for the updates to see if the problems are fixed, which I'm sure will cause more problems than they fix. So may end up wating for the "Next" next Gen console. V1.1

Still more than happy with my 360 and will be using it for a long time to come.

 

Was going to wait a year for the console has they are never finished on realise although this is looking far worse might wait 2 lol !

 

Do you have to install the game or do you get a choice like on the 360 ?

 

Nope you have to install all it, with the 360, it benefits you from scratched discs, but uses up your hard-drive, but with next gen it's a must do thing.
