Next gen games are making my series x freeze than turn off

Discus and support Next gen games are making my series x freeze than turn off in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I just bought a series x off my sisters boyfriend without any cords and I’m using the hdmi and power cord from my ps5.     Next gen games are making my series x freeze than turn off


    I just bought a series x off my sisters boyfriend without any cords and I’m using the hdmi and power cord from my ps5. I think that may be relevant. Games like overwatch(xb1) and fight night champion (360) play just fine however specifically next gen versions of games like halo and DbD are freezing at the startup screen and turning the console off. Can anyone give me a solution to this issue? I’ve tried plugging the power source directly onto the wall, Resetting it, unplugging it and plugging it back in and holding the power button to clear cache, cleared persistent storage, and I’ve hard restarted it multiple times.

    The next gen Series X will be more powerful with more capabilities, but in no means will this make the current gen One S/X obsolete. Games will still be released and supported for the next couple years.

    Not necessarily fifa 21 xbox one version crashes and turns mine off so does fortnite

    Technically current gen is Series S/X, but that would be considered next gen. Series S/X games won't work on a One. The One would be current/last gen.

    You could but it would take much more than 2 people to complain. They would have to be a much bigger community complaining as well. Also, keep in mind that Cross Gen digital games don’t have this issue. Microsoft is also pushing players off disc and into the digital only realm. We see evidence of this with the leaked Mid-Gen Xbox Series X update dropping next year. It’s a 2Tb digital only Series X console.
