NEXT GEN FORCED CROSSPLAY ON XBOX

The new generation has started and console games are starting to add the crossplay option. Crossplay is a good thing as long as you have the option to CHOOSE whether to activate it or not.
The reason for the complaint is there are a lot of console players that we DO NOT want to play against pc players. We chose to play on consoles because we like the controller and the closed options of the console hardware.
We do NOT want to play against pc players with m & k and cheats. And much less, we do not want to be forced to play this way.
In Playstation, users can uncheck from the options menu of each specific game, whether or not they want to use crossplay.
On Xbox, users have to go into account settings and disable it. This is something hidden and many players do not know that it exists.This creates problems because as the players do not know this option, if you activate it, it will not find a game.
It would be convenient for all shooters and other xbox games to have the option of deactivating crossplay from the game's own menu. ACCESSIBILITY AND SIMPLICITY.
Enlisted and Warzone do not have it, and many players have stopped playing the game because they believe they are forced to play against PC players.
It would be convenient for this to change, since I think that it is not being anything positive for the community of Xbox shooter players from what you could read in different forums and social networks in general.

Good to read something like this since I joined this new gen in November. I just discovered the same problem playing some pop games such as Call of Duty Warzone or Enlisted. In my opinion, this crossplay functionality should be present in all the games via toggle or similar in a very well-know place in the game (settings). Simple and accessible. Not in a sub-menu of the console. PC players using MnK for instance or even worse, cheats, which are ruining the simplicity of playing online in consoles. If we as Xbox players are forced to play online with crossplay activated we are not protected as consumers in the Xbox online platform. Let's spread the word for the games under development!

First, you have to pay for playing online, while PS4 players don't (Xbox Live Gold is required for WARZONE).

Second, Xbox players cannot disable crossplay, while PS4 yes.

Microsoft should consider seriously these Xbox disadvantages. Maybe the next console that I buy will not be a Xbox.

The worst of all is that we have to pay for Xbox Live Gold, but we can't use Xbox servers! We are forced to play on Activision's crossplay servers!!

Only you can decide whether it's a good decision or not, for me at the moment if i was forced into getting a next gen console, it wouldn't be an Xbox One

I agree. MSFT doesnt care though, they will force it on people and lose thing next gen.
