I played the first two. They are terrible to play alone. Always have a squad...ALWAYS.

I generally play online with others if the game supports it. Though, when you come across that person that talks during cutscenes.... -_- lol

 

Definitely something I'd try. Completely ignored the first 2 despite my friends advice but next-gen has put me in a crazy mood to try new things.

 

Have to disagree with 24 this time Borderlands 1 and 2 are lots of fun and can be enjoyed solo. For me, that was my preference. I ran around with 1 or 2 friends before but I always found myself enjoying it more alone.

Also, this announcement will not be Borderlands 3 (or shouldn't be going by what Randy said so a few weeks ago). They need to take time with BL3 and not just rush it out for next gen. They should be trying to take advantage of everything the Ps4 & X1 has
to offer and go as big as possible for a game like Borderlands. I Love the series and I'm glad they are holding off on BL for a while.

More seriously,a few months ago,they said that their first "next gen" game won't be a Borderlands but a new IP.

 

I don't think there will be a new borderlands game for a while. Loved the first two games. I thought the second one expanded on the whole concept with the introduction of an proper storyline (cut-scenes etc.). They are just really fun games to play. Handsome

Man, Boderlands 2 was sooooooooo goood. It was tied for my GOTY in 2012 with Dishonored and SH: Downpour. I can't wait till they do a third one.

 

I'm looking forward to the new Borderlands game from TellTale Games - and that's coming from someone who never really cared for B1 & B2.

 

^^ I love the first two and am not looking forward to that game lol. I'll keep an eye open for any new info but I doubt I will be purchasing it.

 

I would be all over a "new" Borderlands..... specific to X1..... I hope MS and game developers start to focus on the X1...... time to bury the 360......
