Alright, so has anyone else heard about the rumor about Fallout 4 possibly taking place in Boston? Also has anyone else heard something else where it was said that Ron Perlman would not be doing any voice work period?

It Looks More and More that Fallout 4 is Bethesda's E3 Secret.

So do you guys think the earlier rumors are true about Fallout 4 being set in Boston? I would be wicked excited if it was.

no, i don't think anyone on the internet has heard any rumors about fallout 4. i'm sure everyone is kinda done with Bethesda and their next mystery game will likely fall on its face...

 

Probably just rumors and nothing more. I doubt the rumors are true though.

I think most have heard the Boston rumor.

I just wish they'd confirm that it's in the work's, not bothered if they don't give a release date yet.... Just want Bethesda to say "yes, we are working on it".

 

I heard somewhere else that they said the player character will do the narration in place of Ron? If they did that (which would lead me to conclude full voice acting for the player characters)then they would more than likely give each gender one voice and
cut down the base character creation into something similar to Dragon Age 2's character creation.

After Fallout New Vegas froze my console 15 times last Saturday they can keep their new game.I am so done with this company.Maybe instead of games they need to get into making ice cream.

 

ha! good one, it's like microsoft should start making vacuum cleaners so their products will finally work how they're supposed to.

 

@low on health: I will admit that Fallout New Vegas was far more unstable than Fallout 3 was. You noticed however that they noticed the problem of FNV eating (corrupting) autosaves and put in a triple autosave system into Skyrim. I do feel (now anyway) that
Fallout New Vegas was rushed out to fast in my opinion after the massive success of Fallout 3. This left them no time to make a stable game that was relatively bug free. They should have taken the game and waited maybe 6 months or another year to release it
(with more content and much more stability).

I feel though that Bethesda and other game companies with big series (Battlefield, Mass Effect, and COD) have been made aware of the consequences of just rushing a game (glitches and all) out to market to satisfy demand (the disastrous Battlefield 4 launch
being a shining example of this).

I am personally willing to wait a extra year or maybe even two if it means that I can get a game so good that I can sink 300+ hours into it like I did with Fallout 3
