Newly Installed Xbox app (Windows 10) completely changed my colour settings/profiles...

Try setting up your installation drive, press the Windows Key + I to open Settings. Click System > Storage. On Windows 10, underneath the More storage settings heading, click Change where new content is saved.

To change the default drive for new apps, use the New apps will save to dropdown. On the Xbox app, click the profile menu in the top-right and select the Settings options. Click on General. Under the “Game install options” section, select the drive to install games by default. Please try installing your games using drive C.

Profile colours are per-account on Xbox. Make sure you're signed into the correct account when choosing a colour, as it will only take effect when that account is active.

You may need to restart some apps before they detect the new colour. Alternatively, restart the console from the Guide (press Xbox button) > Settings tab > Restart.

If the colour change is still not working, where are you changing it? You can change the colour from Settings (Settings > Personalization > Color) or from your profile (Guide > Sign in tab > choose your account > edit profile). Try both methods, if you haven't
already.

No problem! Are you using windows 10 or 11? Kindly also delete all files in C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache, and then reboot your pc.

This will only rescan all your downloaded files in just a few minutes.

Any new game I install from the Xbox App on Windows 10 will not let me log in after starting it.

The Xbox app it self logs in to my Microsoft account automatically and signing out and back in works.

However if I start a newly installed game, it gives me the Xbox login dialog, but it tells me "we couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live" and below "The process terminated unexpectedly". No error code or other useful information.

The dialog shows the right account email address.

If I click change account and pick my account from the list it gives me a different sub message with try again later and error code 0xD000000D.

Also If I try to get any DLC from the xbox app, it looks like a dialog flashes by, but nothing happens.

Reinstalled the Xbox App, but no change.

If you're trying to use an external or different drive, make sure it's set to NTFS.
