    Last night I updated Windows 11 with KB5014697 and haven't been able to launch any newly installed games since then via the desktop shortcut that's created or the Xbox app itself. Games that were installed prior to this update work fine.

    I was able to run Stellaris from the C:\XboxGames\Stellaris\Content folder directly but it won't run from the shortcut or from the app. I tried to manually launch NARAKA preview installed view insider hub in the same way but that doesn't work.

    I tried repairing, then resetting, then uninstalling and re-installing the Xbox app and components and that didn't fix it.

    Because I uninstalled everything I can no longer play any PC Game Pass games at all.

    The KB5014697 update was the only change I made to my PC so I'm very certain that it's this that has broken the Xbox PC Game Pass installs.

    It's just like that, I'm having the same issue, I've formatted the drive, and a fresh windows 11 installation, any game from game pass won't launch.

    Hello, I have a problem with game pass games.

    I forgot to mention I am on Windows 11.

    Edition Windows 11 Home

    Version 22H2

    Installed on ‎5/‎12/‎2022

    OS build 22621.1

    Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22632.1000.0

    No option to go back to previous version.

    I have tried sfc /scannow and that did not correct the issue. Still unable to launch any games in my Game Pass library on my pc.

    *Update

    It appears after removing and re-installing the Gaming Service my issue has been resolved.
