Newly Backwards Compatible Game Not Working

Friend recently purchased the game "Sacred 2: Fallen Angel" digitally and it won't launch. Game is installed and is marked as completed under order history. I own the game physically and have no issues.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Depending of the issue that your friend is experiencing kindly ask your friend the exact error. Also, ask your friend to perform a powercycle as this usually fixes issue.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Hey there, unfortunately not every Xbox 360 game is backwards compatible on the Xbox one. Unfortunately, even if you got somebody on the phone there’s not much they can do about it. The choice to make a game compatible with Xbox one from Xbox 360 also lies
with the developers of the game and whether or not they are allowed to do so. After all the company that made the game could no longer be in business, they could’ve sold the rights to another company, etc. And unfortunately no more backwards compatible games
will be made newly available until after the series X Console comes out later this year.

Backward compatibility never removes any games. It is similar to the newly released game. Midnight Club: LA I have a digital distribution and I play the game almost every day. So there must be some mistake with you.

The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.
