Newest update stuck at around 70% install?

actually, i left it like that for 1 hour i was that patient and i thought screw this, pulled out the power from the back for 10 seconds, reached the green screen with xbox one logo, waited for 5 mins and it jumped to my dashboard, i guess i got lucky as
my AC:Syndicate launched perfectly fine, i hope you get fixed soon too @Darkwatch1137 as i'm unsure why i am fine, i mean it did not fully update for me after all lol.

My xbox stop at that too but when istalling now I got a green screen loop. It won't boot

Mine has also done that. Exactly the same symptoms this morning. Seemed to be stuck around 70% preparing console. After a reboot, stuck on green screen for longer than 10 mins.I'm downloading the offline system diagnostic tool

support.xbox.com/.../offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool but whilst waiting I totally powered off the Xbox and unplugged everything (including network cable) except for HDMI and powered it back up. I've now got it back after about 5 mins on the green
screen but am getting installation stopped 0x87e00005 errors every few minutes now.

Please check first if your hard drive has enough space for the game installation.

If it has enough space, please try the steps below one at a time to sort out the issue.

Solution 1: Clear your local saved games.

Eject the disc from your console.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.

Select Clear local saved games.

Note Selecting this option will not delete any games or progress you have saved in the Xbox cloud. It will only clear data you have saved locally.

Select Yes to confirm.

Once your console restarts, try installing the game again.

If this solution doesn’t work, try the next solution.

Solution 2: Install the game via offline mode.

Step 1: Use your console offline

Follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Select Go offline.

Step 2: Cancel the download

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.

Select Manage > Queue.

Highlight the game you’re trying to install and press the Menu button  on the controller.

Select Cancel.

Step 3: Eject the game disc and power cycle the console

Eject the game disc.

Press and hold the Xbox button  to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console.

Select Restart.

Note If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for about 10 seconds until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button  on the console again to restart.

Step 4: Install the game

After the console restarts, insert the disc. Follow the steps to install the game.

Note Make sure you do this before you reconnect to the internet.

Step 5: Go online and let the game update install

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Select Go online.
