Newest update (11 December) not downloading -Status Code: 42FE-0000-3080-0506-8007-2EE2

What am I to tell the ISP that my xbox download is timing out and it's their fault? This is a cop out. Why can't xbox fix this issue?

 

I am another Spark customer in New Zealand having problems with the latest update for the Xbox 360. Trying to download the file SystemUpdate_17150_USB.zip onto my home computer (for offline installation of the update) stalls every time at around 97.6/110MB,
yet the zip file downloads fine to my work. Given that all my other internet services at home seem fine, there is obviously some quirk with this particular system update. We really need Microsoft and Spark to work with out between them.

 

I agree. This console I've returned for repair once and now this. Every time there's a download i'm waiting for an eternity or it wont load at all.

CONGRATULATIONS MicroSoft! You've lost yet another customer. Sure glad I didn't get the One. What kind of nightmare will that be in a year, I wonder.

 

I'm on spark and the update is working smooth. Had no problems in update 8 days ago and todays update.

 

Same problem in Poland. After new update code 42fe-0000-d080-0200-8007-2ee2 I can't update any game. Xbox please fix it.

Hi, I can not download the update last week and every time the following message appears. "NOT BEEN POISSIVEL to download the update. TO TEST YOUR CONNECTION, OPEN SYSTEM SETTINGS AND SELECT NETWORK SETUP, TEST CONNECTION XBOX LIVE".

I already did all that more time to connect the xbox live the message to do the updating, and it ends up not going.

And the failure message updating aprarece: Status Code: 42fe-0000-051f-8b05-0018.

Please help me.

Here another solution different of change ISP.

Just change your router. My brother had same problem and was solved with the router change

The sync/start/delete update etc thing suggested by Taidara worked, thank you. Now my cloud won't sync but I am still working through that.

I'm in the US on ATT and I am getting an error message every time I turn on my console and it forces me to update. Status code: 42FE-0000-3080-0300-D000-0185. I have chatted and been on the phone with 3 different people at Xbox and still no resolution. I've
tried using the usb download and a burned disk neither one will work. I hooked my original Xbox up to it and it downloaded fine. It sounds like the xbox update has a virus or something.

 

So try and explain why Imcan download a game update but it will not let me download or extract the console update. Now it's telling me the my 4 gb storage in the Xbox is bad. WTH.

It sounds like you might have the Xbox 360 model with the 4gb internal memory. If this is correct, try going into the storage section of your system settings and seeing if that memory shows up as "Unformatted." If it does, and you're unable to format it,
you're most likely going to need to
