    Newer games don't work one my Xbox but older ones do


    So i had just bought GTA v and skyrim legendary edition both of which don't work,but every other of my games like red dead and madden 11 work perfectly and these games arent even in the best condition,sometimes i can red skyrim but it wont get far unyil
    it freezes otherwise its an unreconized disc same with gta i have the xbox s

    New Media Remote/rechargable batteries?

    Does the new black media remote work with rechargeable batteries? I have one of the old white ones and rechargeable batteries don't work in that one.

    Updates For Old Xbox Games

    Ok, I've now found out on here on another forum which games work on my Xbox 360 for my old Xbox games but for the ones that I've sorted into the ones that need updating, I need to know where to find the updates and how much do they cost because where I live
    I don't have very much money and I don't really wanna spend it.

    Will Xbox Play Anywhere expand to old games?

    Xbox Play Anywhere is new Xbox One & Windows 10 games only, they have no plans to expand to older games. I don't think they will ever expand it to older games. A lot of the publishers would have to get involved and I don't think they would want to do that
    when they have newer games in the pipeline.

    this doesn't seem that rare.. searching, i'm seeing a few people having problems with these newer games (and only newer games) while older ones work fine.

    very aggravating microsoft. was happy i avoided the dreaded red rings.. but now i can't play new games..

    oh what a great console you built. makes me confident to jump into xbox one.

    ..i guess i should be asking what's different about these newer games? why they wont work on older xboxs.. seems so hokey to me.

    Nope, I've done all that. It also seems to ocur with newer games. I don't have a problem with the older ones.
