Newbie with Forza Ltd Edition console

Hi folks. I treated myself to a new 1tb Forza box and I'm slowly finding my way around. I was led to believe that it had special start-up and shut-down sounds but these have yet to make an appearance. Could someone explain how to access the appropriate
sound menu?

Anybody else going through controllers?

i have 4 controllers - day 1, titanfall, lunar white and forza 6 ltd edition

All of the above are working perfectly with no issues and the titanfall one has been through some serious gametime

 

Hi there, I've had a look and I'm fairly confident that the console should just make the sounds with no options to disable or change them to the normal ones as per this support thread:

Have you been using the controller to turn on and shutdown? Maybe it only makes the noises when physically touching the console on/off?

 

The 360 special edition Gears console made the sound for picking up cogs when you turned it on and off.

You'd expect that this Forza 1TB Special Edition would at least boot up with a great big "Vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom"!

 

Cheers, I've since found out that turning on/off with the control won't make the sound. You need to physically touch the box.
