Newbie to Xbox one, general chin wag. A place to feel at ease (lol)

Hi all

My name is shelly (luv 2 ply x8ox) from Bradford

With me been new to using xbox i though id post and see if anyone 1 else is new to using xbox too. iam on xbox one and i was so suprised by the quality of the games, ive also got kinect with it too i was like a kid at xmas when i got it delivered.

Ive got Gold membership too which was a bouns tbh when i bought the xbox one, so ive recived my free games for june and august which was great.

Dose anyone else have the xbox with Kinect? if so what is the best bit about it ? mine atm has to be the voice comands when connect to the virgin media T.V as iam always loosing my T.V remote lol

Iam currently playing Ryse son of rome - anyone that plays is welcome to send me a friend request or game request.

Anyway i just want to introduce my self and make a place for the newbies for the Xbox One's in the UK to come and have a natter and answer any probles, like me i was unsure on where to go and what to do when i had a problem, so u could post on here and
u may be put into the right direction or like i say a place just for general natter

XBOX dropping the ball

never intended to get on the forums and be ignorant with anybody or have anybody come at me while their sitting down. Just wanted to state how I feel about the XBOX ONE situation (tense) and how the PS4 community feels "at ease" somehow. You know like 14
billion other people feel... lol.

Welcome to the forums, there's alot of helpful friendly folk on here so you should fit right in. Alot of people with xbox issues come here and are advised by the community on here, i know i do. Its a good place for general chatter too

Love using the voice commands on kinect, feel free to send a invite sometime i also have ryse and would be happy to play a few games

I still consider myself a newbie after 4 years of Xbox. Love th One and voice commands are my favorite thing too. Some people hate Kinect but I have no idea why as most of us here love using it. It's a great piece of kit.

Enjoy Ryse which is a beautiful game and I'd say keep an eye open for Tomb Raider on sale as I loved playing that and loving Watch Dogs at the moment.

Have to admit i was pleasantly suprised by the Kinect on Xbox one,love the voice commands & it works great when playing Kinect Sports.

If you're looking for another fun game that's not too expensive you should really check out "Plans vs Zombies".

It costs less than most new games and all the DLC is free.

 

Woop woop, my family is from keighley, I used to work in Haworth and Skipton, and was visting family in Airdale Hospital just the other weekend (I liive in manchester now)

I like the kinect, but IMO it still has unlocked potential, it still remains to be seen if it gets released though.

I don't play ryse, have to say I am a little bored and waiting for destiny.
