Newbie and a former playstation guy here, having never owned an Xbox before. Earlier today I received my brand spanking new Xbox one s battlefield ( green colored console ) package today, the back area had a few nicks and scratches on it, inc a very light
one on the front lower black area. I dont care that much to be honest, meaning not care to contact merchant or MS but just wanted to mention it nonetheless. I was very suprised that in this day and age these things come out of factory like this, maybe they
come in human contact more during factory assembly than other brands?

By the way, it was a factory sealed brand new unit, not an open box or refurb.

Now for a couple of real questions if I may, is it possible to pair a bluetooth headset ( Sennheiser ) to the X box one S? Also, would anyone know if the up down left and right direction buttons suppose to be noisy? The down button is noiser than the rest
of them. Again, nothing major just curious to know.

    :)

  2. Anyone need a new gamer?

I'm a Newbie and I've been trying a little of everything. I own COD: Black OPs. If you're willing to help a Newbie, I'd be glad to have some friends.

    Thanks

Hi Knobson, welcome to the new and expanded and waaay OVERPOPULATED forum section of Xbox.com! We hope you enjoy your stay.

When you speak about minor defects on your new Xbox One S, are you absolutely *sure* that you've not bought the Gears of War 4 limited edition by mistake? Because those are supposed to have factory-pressed "nicks and scratches" on them! Regarding your Bluetooth
query: why don'tcha try pairing a Bluetooth headset w/Xbox One S and see if it works? Unless of course you haven't bought a headset yet and are testing the waters (in which case, let's hope another Bluetooth headset user stops by soon).

Finally, a "noisy" d-pad? Since when? I haven't unwrapped my Xbox One S official controller yet (as I'm still using the limited edition 'Lunar White' model which is whisper-quiet), but I did check for you and quickly reached for my on-the-shelf *new* controller...
well, if you press a little harder you can hear a slight click when pushing directionally, but I very much doubt you'd be able to hear any clickety-clack while immersed in a new game! Speaking of, back to Andromeda for me... baiiii!

I'm an old fart but it's definitely Battlefield bundle. Not bothered that much, looks like the nicks were present before the dark green paint was applied .

Negative can't hear the D pad down key on game play and it doesn't effect performance. So non issue.

I did a brief Google search but it looks like the Xbox one s doesn't have Bluetooth for accessories like headphones and a wired one needs to be connected to the game pad?

    Xbox startup chime has changed?

Now when I press the power button the startup chime is a three note tone instead of a two note tone. That would be the difference between the two

So far I have not experienced any performance issues. My Xbox One seems to work great.
