New Youtube app is terrible!

Youtube got a new "update" , but the only thing good about it is its new slick look. Other than that, its no good, too many recommended, the hub sucks and the sidebar is just like the youtube app on the mobile device. Every night (and i mean EVERY night)
i would go to sleep watching frankieonpcin1080p's Dayz playlist and the xbox wouldnt shut off, but with this new update it shuts off after the hour and occasionally stops playing the video. terrible all around.

New Youtube App is all kinds of terrible

Terrible Terrible Terrible, that's what i have to say about the new Youtube app on Xbox 360.

It was working great and then the new update just throws it all away for basically the website put onto a TV.

Theres so many thing to dislike about the new youtube app from the ugly interface, horrible keyboard layout, etc.

THis is the same exact horrible app that is on the Amazon FireTV, PS4/3, and most streaming devices.

For example, I dislike the new keyboard for the search menu where you get this weird keyboard box and you have to peck at each letter. Whereas before, it was one row of letters and you can simply use the L1/R1 buttons to skip to letters quicker.

I also dislike that you cant use the L1/R1 buttons to scoll through the list of videos, instead you have to scroll through them left and right one at a time.

This is time consuming and slow process to find the videos you want to see.

Picture quality also appears to have suffered and doesn't look as good as before the update.

Fast forwarding and rewinding is also quite terrible on the new app. Before you had the option of adjusting the speed at which you're forwarding/rewinding, Now you only have the option of forwarding/rewinding in small 10 seconds.

The interface is just hideous. I dont like how they have a list on the left where you have to scroll through the subscriptions. It's exactly like the website put onto a TV.

This does NOT work on a TV. YOu have to redesign it for a TV interface. You cant have the same exact thing from the website on a TV.

I agree I hope they go back to how it was I have a list if faults but no positives to say why have they done this terrible
