New xbox1x stollen! What're my options?

I recently upgraded and bought the xbox1x division 2 bundle and had it hooked up and signed in. I played it maybe 3 times over the course of a week before it was stolen. I can remote locate
phones, and computers that I've registered to my Microsoft account, but I cant remote locate any of my xboxs? Is this a thing or is there some surefire way to get my system back? I just spent $500 on it and I'm hoping I'm not

Yes the police have been involved, investigation opened but idk what they're doing. The console was at my girlfriend's place, entire house burglarized, reports filed for sure. I get the feeling nothing's to come of it though, so trying to learn my options
in regards to doing it myself. If I can find where it is, I'd just like to get it back. I imagine whomever hands it's in is using it, can xbox support help locate it or would this be a microsoft support thing?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your console was recently stolen, and you would like to know if there is a way to track your console in order to recover it. The only way you can get an exact location of your console
is if the person that stole your device logs in to your account. You can find this information out by logging in to the Microsoft website and visiting the

security section. You can choose to view your account's recent activity there. If someone uses your console to log in to your account, you can see an exact location with an IP address as well. Once you have that information, you can forward it to your local
law enforcement along with your serial number. We hope this information helps!

I think the first thing you should do is
change the passwordon your Microsoft account, and then
call Microsoft directly and notify them about your situation.

Also, I found this in another thread:

With console serial number in hand the police can contact Microsoft Online Services Legal Request Hotline to attempt to get access information such as active IP address, accounts etc.

Talk to your investigating officer, they probably already have protocol for cybercrimes.

"Microsoft will respond to formally served civil subpoenas served on Microsoft’s registered agent in the requesting party’s state and is unable to respond to faxed or mailed requests for civil matters."

hint: don't bother calling or mailing unless you're in local law enforcement.
