New Xbox Store Video Game Trailers In Full Screen?

This behavior is frustrating for sure, I'm hopeful this gets fixed before the Series X launch

Such an oversight. I hope they patch this latest update. I had a friend over whos a Playstation user and loved the newest store UI/UX I’m working on converting him to our side and for the most he’s on board but was curious as to why I was unable to view
the trailers in fullscreen. Obviously I had no answer.

Yeah, but it will only play one trailer there. There are many games with multiple trailers, and it will only autoplay one trailer on that top screen. The rest of the trailers are at the bottom of the game's page, and will only play in that tiny box with
no way to maximize it to fullscreen.

That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Why would they not add a full screen feature here? It feels like a huge overlook and seems very regressive.

Having the same problem, how could something so simple be overlooked like this? All that time spent "upgrading" the store only to make all the videos autoplay, with or without sound that has to be toggled in store settings, and absolutely no way to make
them fullscreen... pressing the A button should just make it play the way it always used to, this new interface is positively asinine
