New Xbox series X crashing within 2 minutes of starting any game

Everything I load up a game, rocket league or fortnite, I get past the initial loading screen and try and start a multi-player match and the game immediately freezes and crashes. Sometimes, I don't even get through the initial loading screen. I have tried to trouble shoot this all day. Including Uninstalling and reinstalling both games. Restarting my Xbox. Testing my network connection and restarting my router. Doing a soft factory reset of my Xbox. Clearing my profile from the Xbox and signing back in again. Nothing has worked. I just got the new console today and still have not actually gotten to get into a game. Any suggestions are appreciated.

It seems like you have performed all the necessary steps. Can you please try using a different TV just to test it out that it’s not the resolution that is causing the issue?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

When you mentioned that you have a soft factory reset, are you pertaining to resetting the console keeping games and apps? If yes, we may need to reset the console by removing everything, this will uninstall all of your games and apps but you can reinstall them later on.

Also, if you have an external hard drive plugged into your console kindly unplug them in the meantime, a corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well.

Yes I have tried the hard reset as well (resetting all games and apps) and this still hasn't helped. I do mot have an external hard drive connected either.

My xbox series x is crashing when playing Anny game is started op it freezes after 2 minutes and shuts down can you tell when there will be a fix update for this best regards theis

I know I'm not HomelessHippo69 but I am also having the exact same issue and I wanted to answer your questions. I also have the Xbox Series X and am playing the Series X version of BF2042

The game crashes and/or restarts the xbox within around 15 minutes of playing the multiplayer game. It usually starts by just crashing the game but as I keep re-entering the game and play the crashing eventually turns into a full on shut off and restart of the console. I rarely can even finish a full round without crashing/restart of Xbox. The game seems to crash and/or restart my console in a shorter time period than usual when playing the game with friends. This is only happening when I play Battlefield 2042. Also,
I have the Xbox Series X|S version installed
The game is running off the internal drive.
I will submit a bug report.
There are no game updates to install. There was a season 2 game update that happened earlier this week but this issue was happening even before the new update released.
