New Xbox Series X can’t start up- Error E106

On the support page there is also an option the perform the update via usb device (if available).

As side node, the 8007 part of the error could indicate an issue with the connection, so if possible have you tried connecting the console to the internet by wire or even at a different location (friend or family's place)

Tried that still doing the same thing error code E106 00000009 c0000102 dont know what that means

Error E106 occurs when you try to turn on your console

You see one of the following error codes when you try to turn on your console:

• E106
• E106 xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx

Note The “x” digits vary.

Solution

To resolve this problem, use the Xbox One startup error troubleshooter:

1. Go to the
   Xbox One startup error troubleshooter.
2. Scroll down the screen and select E106.
3. Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.

I have almost the same problem except the error message says

“if you’re using Xbox series X/S, note that HDMI audio can’t be turned off. In other consoles, either optical or HDMI audio must be on. (0x80bd0009)

Why can’t I turn off hdmi audio on Xbox series x it makes no sense?

Exact same issue. Xbox one series X. Constant buffering every 5 minutes and errors saying can’t play.
