New xbox s wont turn on. Any ideas would be appreciated

If the product is brand new and is faulty, I suggest returning it to the supplier and requesting a full refund or replacement product as it should still be under warranty.

Sorry to hear about the trouble with your console.

May i first suggest to unplug to console and try to plug just the power supply with battery into a different plug and see if you get any light on the power supply. If its white or orange or no light at all.

I may also suggest that you can request a repair, if your console is still under warranty. Device support

You'll need to first register the device and then follow the steps prompted to request a repair.

But definitely first try to plug the consoles power supply into a different plug perhaps in another room to see if maybe its that certain plug shorting it out.

Is there a light on the power supply?

When it was last on did it run a software update?

Try unplugging the console from the main power, leave it off for 5-10 mins, then plug it all back in. May help

If not, and it is brand new, unfortunately you may have to go back to the supplier and request a refund/replacement due to a faulty console, sucks but it happens sometimes
