    New Xbox question


    New to xbox

    purchased an xbox one x (Costco) a few weeks ago. i created 4 different accounts or profiles (2 for the kids and one for wife and the other for me) Having the following issues:

    when i try to play a game under my profile more than not does the game not loAd and brings me right back to the home screen. This happends under all games

    same issue for my son

    My wifes account works usually. Not all the time but 3/4 of the time it will allow my son and i to play any game, for ex nba2k20 , other times (the other 25%) of the time the game tries to load and brings us right back to the home screen. Some times
    there are black hallows around the players too. We have un installed the games, and verfied all updates are there. Could this be a hardware issue? this console is far too expensive to not have it fully working.

    Whoever actually owns the games you need that account to be set as the others xbox owner....so say if your brother is who bought the games on his account then on your xbox set him as the owner of your xbox

    Should be able to add your xbox to family/home

    That account needs to be signed in and then "Set as Home Xbox" then sign out.

    In order for sharing to work, his account must be the "Home Xbox".

    After that, you can sign his account out. Then sign back into yours and you should have access to his games.
