New xbox ones won't let me add my account.

So I've just bought a new xbox one s 1TB and I've set it up and updated everything, but when I click sign it it just brings up the loading screen and kicks me back to the menu where it says add new again.

Ive turned xbox off then on

Tried holding the power button 10seconds to power off

Switched off and removed power cable.

Full reset removed everything and still won't allow me to add my account

This is something that would be more fitting to ask Xbox Support.

It sounds like it might be Xbox server issue more than anything else. I have had similar problems in the past when moving from my house to college and it ended up being due to trying to sign in when the services were down.

Wasn't sure where to post it, I'll hold off got a little while and try again in a few hours hopefully it works.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue.

Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
