New Xbox One X Project Scorpio Effectively Dead

Literally just received my new project Scorpio Xbox on its release day and it's dead. When I turn it on I get nothing for several minutes and even my tv says there is no input, then it fires up to the fancy zoom-in to the CPU or whatever screen which then
switches to the green Xbox one screen and stays there for about 3 minutes. Then it drops out to a black "Something went wrong" screen showing system error E105 00000000 8007045D, when I select anything on screen like "Restart this Xbox" or "Troubleshoot" it
does nothing but stay where it is.

Also it showing on the "Something went wrong" screen that it is not connected to the internet when I am using my 360 connection that I just swapped over and it always connected ok.

So another fantastic Xbox release which only cost £449 pounds for a black box that doesn't do anything. Contacting my supplier now for a refund and don't expect to be ordering another. I know these things happen but this is the second time I have been royally
screwed by Xbox releases.

Not a happy customer.

Concerns about the reported problems about the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition.

I just purchased an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition off of Amazon and I'm concerned about the failure rate, heat, fan noise and other problems with Scorpio Xbox One Xs by reading the forums off of Xbox.com and others. I haven't opened up the retail box
yet. Should I return it and get an regular Xbox One X or an 1-2 TB Xbox One S?

Just contacted Argos who tried to tell me that before they could process a return I HAD to contact Microsoft for a reference number as it is a technical item and they couldn't proceed without one. I said Microsoft's technical support was legendary for being
crap and pointed out to the advisor that I was covered by the "7 Day Long Distance Sellers Act" which guaranteed me a refund. He replied, "Well yeah if you want your money back." I replied of course I wanted my money back as the item didn't work. He said I
can take it into any Argos with my receipt for a refund.

I have the exact same problem. I've reset the console and still the same problem. I'm going to see if I can go to my local MS store and exchange it.
