New Xbox One X crashing online everytime

Having a nightmare with my new console. Bought 2 weeks ago.

Can’t get any games to work online. Fortnite, Warzone and Red Dead2 all crash my xbox one x just as it’s about to launch an online session. The games all start and I can go through the title screens. It is when I try to start playing that it fails.

Only every makes it to the load screen for Fortnite. On Warzone it makes it to the training screen but crashes immediately. On RDR2 it shows a few seconds of the online cinematic. Then they all hard crash the xbox.

RDR2 is a disc; the others I’ve downloaded.

I’ve gone through all the troubleshooting: Cleared cache, wiped then reinstalled games, restored the console to factory settings, set up a completely new gamer profile.

My subscriptions are valid, fibre is 100Mbps, wireless is fine. My brother’s Switch works just fine playing Fortnite so it shouldn’t be my connection

It is horribly frustrating. Any ideas on what I can do?

Hi!

Have you tried to do a network check from console? Are there any lost packages?

However, try to clear the alternate MAC Address from the console and try again.

***Further Update***

I tried to play the single player offline story for Red Dead Redemption 2 and the console crashed in the opening scene. So the xbox crashes in offline story and online multiplayer.

Decided to try one last time and reset fully to factory settings again. Installed RDR2 and same thing happened again. Basically nothing works.

There's no issue with ventilation or power supply. Therefore my conclusion is I have a faulty console. Couldn't have happened at a worse time as we are in lockdown.

Where do I go from here? I bought it 2 weeks ago so will I go back to the retailer to get a refund or should I deal with Microsoft directly?

So doesn’t look like it’s anything to do with the network. It can’t be game related as it happens for three different ones. Is there something corrupted with the console itself?

are you able to try it from any other network connection just as a test? from a friends internet or tether from your phone? does it sign into your live account all ok and download games all fine? i will be honest and have never heard of it just crashing
when you try to play a game online before......
