    New Xbox One worse than Pre Owned Xbox One ??? HELP!!!


    Hi, I have had a new xbox one now for a week and i have done all the troubleshooting i can find, my problems are as follows,

    My dash wont show gamer pics or achivo pics

    My xbox video app wont play already purchased videos

    My theme and gamerpic wont change, the console wont let me change them

    XBL 1 Month Trial - New Account, Pre-owned console

    I was gifted my fathers pre-owned Xbox One, as he upgraded to the Xbox One X.

    This is my first Xbox, so I created a new account, but from my understanding, due to the console being pre-owned, I do not get the offer of a 1 month free trail of XBL Gold. I am curious if I am eligible with my new account, on a pre-owned console.

    Was the game brand new or pre owned? If it was a pre owned game then it might have previously had a code for the dlc included in the case which now might not be with it as it has been used.

    Another thing, is your Xbox One pre-owned? I ask because quite often pre-owned Xbox One's may not have been removed from the insider program, by the previous owner. If you have owned it from new, then that is ruled out.

    OP hasn't mentioned whether or not the Xbox was purchased new or pre-owned. If it's pre-owned, then it's likely the previous owner never bothered to do a reset and that Xbox One is still set to their "Home" Xbox.

    Would explain 'random' downloads of games and full access to them.

    yes i did get an xbox one with a uk power brick,and no i have not taken the console back to france for a refund,i have had the first console replaced by microsoft,but the replacement console they sent me was pre-owned and faulty rather than a brand new one.
