New Xbox One User Interface

Hey guys, I believe that the Xbox One should replace the current User Interface. I loved the Xbox 360 interface.

Benefits of the Xbox 360's UI:

-Avatar, Avatar Store

-Better gamer pictures

-Party chat was better

-Friends list was better

-Profile was better

I am not necessarily saying that we should bring back the 360 interface as it was. Maybe bring it back but an updated version of it. I think Microsoft should just swallow their pride and admit that the Windows 8 interface wasn't that great.

Haha, I'm middle aged and I hate it.

Voice controls are to long winded too.

 

Xbox One User Interface

I am now getting even more frustrated with the Xbox One user interface, compared to when I first purchased the console.

When the Xbox One came out, the UI was smooth, user friendly, and easy to get to where you want.

Now however, I'm pressing up, down, left, up, up, down, left, etc, etc, just to get to one item. It's also very sluggish, slow to open up menus, and just damn frustrating.

I was trying to change my background to a picture, (which is pointless, as it's all covered), when I found my screenshots and decided I didn't like them, I pressed B in hope to go back to select a colour, but no, instead of going back just one, it's goes
back further, where I have to re-select "Personalise".

I'm sure I use to be able to flick through my screenshots, now it seems I select one and have to come out and select a different one, instead of flicking through.

I really want the original UI version please... (surely that can be and option) This new Windows 10 feel in awful!

Or is it just me...

PSersonally, I think they've slowed down the UI, just so the Xbox One S seems faster.

 

I like the Xbox One UI, it's improved since launch and will keep on improving but like the Xbox 360's original Blades and 2008's NXE to 2011's Metro, I think the Xbox One's UI will change, probably because Windows 10 is releasing soon which I think will
be great.

 

I do not believe all of those things are better. Party chat is more stable on the Xbox 360. But no where near the quality of Xbox One.

Avatar and Gamer Pics are needed. With each new release of a game and even some TV shows and Movies generally came new avatar and Gamer Pics. This should be the case for Xbox One. Some sweet Marius Titus (Ryse : Son of Rome ) armor or Damocles armor.
Or a Titanfall Titan Avatar prop. Where it would pick your avatar up and put you inside of the Titan. It is ridiculous that the gamer pics are this bad on Xbox One.

From my understanding, Xbox One is getting a new UI when windows 10 drops. Amd avatars will be more prominent

 

Also what I was thinking is that they should bring back the avatar store because the gamer pics on the Xbox One are huge so avatar props would be really cool to have.

 

Apples and oranges IMO, there are a few things I think can, and will, be improved on the X1 UI, my only real complaint is the pins, I'd like to see either tabs or folders to organize the pins, right now I don't have enough room for all of my apps and digital
games.

 

"New Xbox one interface" = Bring back old stuffs.

Sorry but i found it funny.

Pictures,avatar,friend list,profile,ect...Are (for me) features that doesn't matter or that i can manage easily on Xbox one.(just need to fix some party chat issues)

 

If you want a 360 interface go play a 360......

 

I am. Xbox 360 UI is way better than the Xbox One.

 

The UI will evolve on the Xbox One FearedAztec. Just as the Xbox 360 did.

 

I LOVE the X1 U.I.! X Box go to... Very simple and quick.

Oh no doubt about that D33dles. That will not change. But a lot of users (as you know) have requested themes back like in the Xbox 360. Amd the current tile layout isn't very background friendly

 

The interface looks and feels modern, like the console. Mind you I hated "The Blades" and got my butt kicked because of it.

 

Yeah I'm not minding the X1 dash these days and I even gotten to the stage now where I have an acceptable gamerpic and background so as much as I would like more, I'm happy to wait patiently. I still really want a chat pad though, omg!
